Reporting to the Director, Office of Apprenticeship, the Manager, Apprenticeship Operations provides operational leadership and management oversight for apprenticeship coordination, engagement, and administrative functions within the Office of Apprenticeship (OoA) at NAIT.
The manager is responsible for the day-to-day delivery of apprenticeship operations, the coordination and execution of the Women Leading and Building Canada's Future (WLBCF) initiative (with future opportunity to lead additional apprenticeship initiatives targeting underrepresented or deserving groups), and and driving process improvement and data-informed decision-making across the apprenticeship function.
The manager leads a team of apprenticeship coordinators and indirectly leads engagement staff and administrative support personnel.
This position plays a central role in translating the OoA's strategic direction into operational outcomes, ensuring that apprenticeship services are delivered consistently, efficiently, and in alignment with AIT requirements and NAIT institutional standards.

Qualifications:
Red Seal Journeyperson certificate with business/leadership experience and/or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. Business Administration, Operations Management, Education, or a related discipline) is required
Equivalent combination of education and progressively responsible operational management experience may be considered
Experience in apprenticeship, skilled trades, and post-secondary environments is a strong asset
Applicants with education credentials earned outside of Canada should have their credentials evaluated by World Education Services (WES), International Qualifications Assessment Service (IQAS) or the Comparative Education Services (CES).
