- Prepare Retail Operations budget including capital, manpower, expenditure, and income forecasts for Board review
- Review budgets frequently to ensure alignment with projections and take remedial actions for any negative variances
- Utilize experience and market trends to deliver accurate budget forecasts for revenue and expenditure
- Instigate and manage a service charge budget and matrix ensuring all operational expenditures are recoverable from tenants
- Assist with monthly and annual financial reports, including re forecasting, P&L, lease abstracting, and budgeting
- Oversee the condition and maintenance programs of key assets for optimal commercial life and salvageability
- Tight management of debtors and focus on EBIDAT delivery
- Oversee mall marketing and events, ensuring proper marketing to enhance footfall and tenant sales
- Enhance guest experience and handle guest complaints as required
- Facilitate management of the marketing program with the Sr. General Manager and Marketing Manager
- Maintain positive relations with the local community and stay informed about political and regulatory changes
- Maintain excellent communication with tenants and ensure compliance with lease terms
