We are seeking a motivated Maintenance Technician to join our team at the Havieron Project . Reporting to the Site Support Supervisor, you will perform planned and breakdown maintenance across camp and mine infrastructure while maintaining the highest standards of safety, environmental compliance, and operational excellence.
This role offers the opportunity to work across Greatland sites as required and plays an important role in ensuring our facilities and equipment remain safe, reliable, and fit for purpose.
As the Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for:
Performing planned and breakdown maintenance across camp infrastructure, buildings, and associated equipment.
Completing safety inspections and promptly reporting hazards and maintenance issues.
Ensuring maintenance activities are completed safely and to the required standard.
Contributing to the continuous improvement of maintenance strategies and practices.
Completing risk assessments and relevant documentation for maintenance activities.
Identifying, documenting, and reporting equipment defects and failures through the work request system.
Providing leadership and support to small work groups when required.
Assisting with general camp maintenance and operational support activities.
This role is offered on a permanent fulltime basis FIFO from Perth on an 8/6 roster.

You are a safety-focused maintenance professional who enjoys working in a hands-on environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality maintenance outcomes. You bring a proactive approach to problem solving, work well both independently and within a team, and are committed to maintaining safe and reliable site operations. Additionally you will have:
Relevant trade qualification (e.g. Refrigeration, Mechanical, Fitting or similar).
Minimum 3 years' experience in a mining, industrial, or remote-site environment.
Demonstrated experience performing preventative and corrective maintenance on facilities, infrastructure, equipment, or machinery.
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills, with the ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.
Proven ability to prioritise work, manage competing demands, and respond effectively to breakdown situations.
Sound knowledge of WHS requirements, risk assessments, and safe work practices.
Experience developing Safe Work Procedures (SWPs) and Job Safety and Environmental Analyses (JSEAs).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Current Australian Manual Driver's Licence (HR desirable).
Level 1 Isolation certification.
Working at Heights certification (Desirable).
Confined Space certification (Desirable).
Forklift Licence and Telehandler trained.
Dogging High Risk Work Licence.
