Equipment Maintenance
- Carry out hands-on repair, preventive maintenance, and breakdown maintenance of commercial kitchen and laundry equipment.
- Diagnose and repair gas-operated and electrically operated kitchen and laundry equipment.
- Maintain and troubleshoot cold rooms and refrigeration equipment.
- Conduct routine inspections and identify potential faults before breakdowns occur.
- Troubleshoot equipment failures and identify the root cause of technical problems.
Gas and Refrigeration Systems
- Maintain gas systems, gas manifolds, regulators, valves, gauges, and related components.
- Check and monitor gas pressure to ensure safe operation within required parameters.
- Check refrigerant gas pressures and refrigeration system performance.
Electrical and Plumbing Repairs
- Use multimeters, clamp meters, and other electrical measuring instruments to diagnose faults.
- Repair wiring, connections, switches, contactors, relays, motors, sensors, and other electrical components.
- Carry out plumbing repairs related to commercial kitchen and laundry equipment.
- Inspect water supply, drainage, valves, pumps, pipes, and related plumbing connections.
Maintenance Records
- Perform preventive maintenance according to equipment requirements and maintenance schedules.
- Maintain records of inspections, breakdowns, repairs, replaced parts, and maintenance activities.
Requirements
- Ability to repair and maintain commercial kitchen and laundry equipment.
- Experience diagnosing and repairing gas-operated and electrically operated equipment.
- Ability to maintain and troubleshoot cold rooms and refrigeration equipment.
- Ability to diagnose electrical, plumbing, gas, and refrigeration-related faults.
- Ability to safely handle gas manifolds, regulators, valves, gauges, and related components.
- Ability to use multimeters, clamp meters, and other electrical measuring instruments.
- Ability to inspect water supply, drainage, valves, pumps, pipes, and plumbing connections.
- Ability to maintain accurate records of inspections, breakdowns, repairs, replaced parts, and maintenance activities.
