About the role. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the electrical and mechanical components of the plant operate reliably and safely, with minimal downtime and waste.
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the role supports all plant equipment and includes installations, repairs, commissioning, testing, fault finding, and diagnostics to maximise plant effectiveness and efficiency.
Experience implementing or maintaining CMMS systems (e.g., FIIX, MEX, SAP PM, Pronto).
Hands-on technical background in FMCG, food, or high-speed packaging manufacturing.
Strong coordination and planning capability across maintenance and engineering teams.
Knowledge of automation, PLC systems, and continuous improvement practices.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills.
A proactive mindset with strong attention to detail and organization.
Trade qualification or engineering background preferred; high-risk licenses (e.g. Forklift, EWP, Confined Space, Restricted Electrical) highly regarded.
