As our Despatch Supervisor, you’ll lead a close-knit team of Warehouse Operators and work hand-in-hand with transport providers to ensure our delicious cakes reach customers efficiently and safely. This is a great chance for someone with proven supervisory experience to take the next step and make a real impact.
You hold a valid forklift license and bring over five years of experience operating high reach forklifts in despatch or warehouse settings within the food industry. Your background includes leadership positions such as Team Leader or Supervisor, where you have successfully coached and developed diverse warehouse or despatch teams. You demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to motivate, influence, and resolve issues effectively in fast-paced environments.
Your excellent time management and organisational capabilities are complemented by an understanding of Chain of Responsibility (CoR) requirements. You have a strong food and people safety mindset, with proven experience in adhering to safety compliance standards and HACCP, leading by example.
Relevant qualifications in warehousing or distribution are considered advantageous as would previous SAP experience.
