Maintenance Technician 1

Job Summary

Essential Functions

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain motors, electrical circuits, ATR systems, baggage handling equipment, conveyor systems, and other machinery.
• Use diagrams, electrical drawings, operational manuals, manufacturer specifications, hand tools, and precision measuring instruments.
• Follow safe working practices and Lock-Out/Tag-Out procedures.
• Prepare and execute service calls, emergency maintenance, corrective maintenance, and preventive maintenance.
• Report service calls and complete CMMS service reports, parts usage records, and warranty records.
• Optimize subsystems, propose service process improvements, and develop service support tools.
• Unjam conveyors, handle system errors, and attend to manual encoding stations and load correction zones.
• Research and request spare parts, perform inventory counts, and identify planning or tooling improvements.
• Work independently on preventive maintenance, correct standard faults, help other technicians, and guide less experienced technicians.

Reporting and Site

• The Service Technician reports to the Shift Leader.
• The role is based at a customer site in Jeddah.

Requirements

• Ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain machinery and electrical equipment using diagrams, electrical drawings, manuals, and testing instruments.
• Ability to follow Lock-Out/Tag-Out procedures and safe working practices.
• Ability to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on material handling systems.
• Ability to work independently on preventive maintenance activities at the customer site.
• Ability to identify faults and independently correct standard faults.
• Ability to guide less experienced technicians.
