Purpose of the Job
Lead the mechanical maintenance team and execute preventive and corrective maintenance on rotating, static, and process mechanical equipment.
Maximize plant uptime and equipment reliability.
Role Context
Business unit: ACCBC.
Function: Supply Chain - Maintenance & Engineering.
Reports to the Maintenance Superintendent.
Location stated in the description: KSA - Dammam.
Mechanical Maintenance Execution
- Plan and supervise preventive planned maintenance and corrective maintenance for all mechanical plant assets.
- Oversee maintenance of production line machinery, conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, and process vessels.
- Manage mechanical work orders in D365 or the CMMS and ensure timely completion.
Reliability and Root-Cause Analysis
- Lead failure analysis for recurring mechanical breakdowns and implement permanent fixes.
- Monitor equipment condition and recommend reliability improvement actions.
Safety and Standards
- Enforce LOTO, PTW, and confined-space procedures for all mechanical work.
- Ensure mechanical work quality meets engineering standards and OEM specifications.
Team Supervision
- Supervise and develop mechanical technicians, line mechanics, and machinists.
- Allocate daily tasks, conduct briefings, and review work quality.
Experience
- At least 7 years of mechanical maintenance experience in FMCG, beverage, or industrial environments.
- At least 2 years of supervisory experience.
Qualifications and Knowledge
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
- Knowledge of rotating equipment, conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics, LOTO, CMMS, and team supervision.
