Position Overview
Perform line maintenance on aircraft inflight entertainment and connectivity systems and other aircraft equipment.
Troubleshoot systems using computer and electronic theories and test equipment and complete related maintenance administration.
Aircraft Systems Maintenance
- Replace components, perform adjustments and inspections, and conduct functional tests and certifications.
- Troubleshoot failures to line-replaceable units, cabling, or other aircraft systems.
- Perform cabin sweeps, BITE and manual tests, and software and media loading.
- Clean applicable components and equipment racks or filters.
- Complete aircraft documentation and escalate problems to the Lead or Supervisor.
- Communicate with customers and certify completed work where authorized.
Administrative Duties
- Assist with airside inventory management, cycle counting, packaging, and shipping.
- Maintain housekeeping, health and safety, and tool-care standards.
- Perform other related duties assigned by supervisors or management.
Qualifications
- Secondary or technical school degree.
- At least 12 months of experience on Panasonic IFEC systems and 24 months of on-aircraft experience.
- Must have worked on aircraft within the last 18 months.
- Essential aircraft maintenance experience.
- A KSA GACA Aircraft License or equivalent authority is preferred.
- Strong English, computer, teamwork, and high-pressure working skills.
Work and Access Requirements
- Valid driver's license and ability to meet airport authority access and vehicle-operation requirements.
- Ability to travel up to 25% internationally and domestically when required.
- Ability to climb ladders or platforms, work in confined spaces and extreme weather, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work with tools and equipment and tolerate extended standing, sitting, bending, twisting, noise, and congestion.
Schedule
- Work a rotating shift roster covering 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
Workplace
- The role is based at an assigned aircraft line station in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with possible travel to other line stations.
