Maintenance Services Representative - Riyadh (1 Position)

Overview

Aircraft, IFE Maintenance and Support

• Perform built-in and manual tests of Panasonic Avionics in-flight entertainment systems.
• Troubleshoot electronic units, cabling, and seat consoles to line-replaceable module level.
• Identify repairs needed to restore functional acceptance.
• Remove and replace defective line-replaceable modules or cabling.
• Operate vehicles on airport property and around aircraft.
• Operate airline communications equipment and interface with customers.

Administration and Documentation

• Document testing and repairs using computer and bar-coding equipment.
• Receive and prepare parts.
• Assist in tracking spare-parts inventory.
• Perform other reasonable related duties assigned by management.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• One to three years of related industry experience is preferred.
• Academic or technical qualifications and experience must satisfy applicable regulatory licensing requirements, including FAA A&P requirements.
• Knowledge of electronics and troubleshooting may come from commercial aviation, military experience, or technical school education.

Knowledge and Skills

• Read and follow instructions, procedures, blueprints, diagrams, manuals, and verbal instructions in English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is required.
• Work on moderately diverse problems using judgment and initiative, and recommend solutions.

Other Requirements

• Pass extensive security and background checks.
• Travel internationally and domestically to other line stations may be required, up to 25 percent of the time.
• Hold a valid driver's license and meet airport authority access and vehicle-operation requirements.
• Work any shift, including weekends and holidays.
• Climb ladders or platforms and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Work in extreme weather, confined spaces, and varying noise conditions.
