Position Overview

Leads and mentors line station employees and coordinates assigned station operations.

Performs and oversees aircraft line maintenance, including in-flight entertainment and connectivity systems and other aircraft equipment.

Completes maintenance within applicable regulations, company procedures, and contractual obligations.

Aircraft Maintenance and IFEC

  • Leads the team and performs and certifies line maintenance during transit checks.
  • Troubleshoots aircraft systems within authorization and replaces defective line replaceable units.
  • Performs inspections, adjustments, functional tests, cabin sweeps, built-in tests, and manual testing.
  • Assists with software and media loading, component cleaning, and defect rectification.
  • Completes aircraft documentation and certifies work under applicable company or airline authority.
  • Coordinates escalations, customer communication, system performance monitoring, safety, and quality assurance.

Leadership and Administration

  • Mentors, coaches, allocates, and assigns daily schedules and tasks.
  • Leads station operations, produces shift rosters, and optimizes resource utilization.
  • Ensures staff follow PAC and customer procedures and that tools and test equipment are available.
  • Maintains maintenance records and manages inventory, cycle counts, packaging, and shipping.
  • Maintains health, safety, housekeeping, and tool-care standards.

Qualifications

  • Secondary or high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A valid aircraft maintenance license, such as a GACA license for airframe, powerplant, or avionics, is required.
  • At least six years of aircraft maintenance experience, including three years exercising RTS certification privileges, is required.
  • Team management, supervision, and leadership experience is required.
  • In-flight entertainment experience is advantageous.
  • Candidates must understand wiring diagrams and technical documentation and be proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Candidates must read, write, and speak English easily and accurately.

Additional Conditions

  • The role requires a rotating shift roster covering 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year.
  • The role may require up to 25% international and domestic travel to other line stations.
  • A valid driver's license and eligibility for airport access and vehicle operation are required.
  • The role may involve outdoor work, confined spaces, noise, machinery, heights, heavy lifting, and personal protective equipment.
