About the Role
SFAI Qatar is hiring a Maintenance Cleaner for industrial cleaning and maintenance support in plant environments. Duties include cleaning buildings, assisting maintenance personnel, and following safety procedures.

Responsibilities
- Clean plant buildings, control rooms, workshops, warehouses, offices, rest rooms, and common areas
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and wash floors, stairways, platforms, and walkways
- Remove dust, dirt, grease, and debris from plant areas and equipment surroundings
- Collect, segregate, and dispose of waste according to site procedures and environmental regulations
- Clean spills promptly and safely following approved procedures
- Assist maintenance personnel with housekeeping before, during, and after maintenance activities
- Clean tools, equipment, and work areas upon completion of maintenance tasks
- Support shutdown and turnaround activities by maintaining orderly work locations
- Transport cleaning materials and waste containers as required
- Follow all Health, Safety, Environment (HSE), and plant regulations
- Use personal protective equipment (PPE) correctly at all times
- Report unsafe conditions, spills, leaks, damages, or housekeeping issues to supervisors
Requirements
- High school education or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in industrial cleaning, utilities, desalination, power plants, or similar environments is an advantage
- Basic understanding of workplace safety practices
- Ability to read and follow instructions and safety procedures
- Good physical fitness and ability to perform manual work
- Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards
- Reliability, punctuality, and strong work ethic
- 4 years of Maintenance Cleaner experience preferred

General Duties
- Maintain adequate stock of cleaning supplies and report shortages.
- Assist in pest control and sanitation activities when required.
- Support emergency response and plant housekeeping initiatives.
- Perform other duties assigned by supervisors within the scope of the role.
Qualifications
- High school education or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in industrial cleaning, utilities, desalination, power plants, or similar environments is an advantage.
