About the Role

Responsibilities
- Execute assigned tasks and work orders related to mechanical corrective and preventive maintenance
- Identify root causes of major and repeating problems
- Respond to technical problems and ensure proper actions are taken
- Solve technical problems and identify parts requirements
- Execute maintenance schedules/plans to maintain plant equipment within engineering standards
- Achieve and maintain line availability and equipment readiness
- Ensure proper controls for hazards and risks, achieve EHS targets
- Operate equipment related to utilities sections
- Supervise contracted labor during maintenance activities
- Maintain accurate SAP PM records for all work orders
Requirements
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 2 years industrial experience
- Hands on experience in mechanical equipment maintenance, thermal and hydraulic machines, HVAC systems, rotating and conveying mechanisms
- Equipment troubleshooting hands on experience
- Good command of English language
- Knowledge of SAP system
- Knowledge of Maintenance Management software (CMMS) is a plus
- Ability to read and understand plans, diagrams, layouts and schematic drawings

Job Overview
- Execution of assigned tasks and work orders related to all types of Mechanical maintenance mechanical corrective, preventive maintenance and any engineering related works in safe, good and cost effective manner within the given time frames.
Responsibilities
- The overall responsibility for performing assigned Work Orders as well as any other tasks by the supervisor.
- Identify the root causes of major and repeating problems.
- Respond to all technical problems within the assigned area and making sure proper actions are identified and taken.
- Solving technical problems and identifying the actions and parts requirement.
- Daily contact with Direct Managers/peers/Supervisors.
- Decision making on utilisation of spare parts, required corrective and preventive actions for breakdowns.
- Executing the maintenance schedules/ plans to maintain the plant equipment with in given engineering standards.
- Achieve and maintain the Line availability (Technical Efficiency) & Equipment readiness.
- Ensure proper controls for all hazards and risks associated with all activities are in place and EHS targets are achieved.
- Operates all equipment’s related to utilities sections.
- Supervise contracted labours during maintenance activities and follow safety and company standard.
- Performs required daily parameters readings, monitoring’s and as required by supervisor.
Qualifications: Knowledge / Skill
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Mechanical safety standards awareness.
- Maintenance Planning & execution system.
- Can read and understand plans, diagrams, layouts and schematic drawings.
- Have knowledge in operating and automation systems.
- Technical knowledge for refrigeration plant cooling system, troubleshooting & M. (For AC technician).
- Knowledge in any Maintenance Management software (CMMS) is a plus is preferred.
- Has good command of English language (Reading, Writing and Speaking).
- Have Quality and Food Safety QFS systems and policies knowledge.
- Environment, Health and Safety EHS systems and policies knowledge and system basic awareness.
- Knowledgeable in SAP system.
- Able to do basic electro mechanical works independently.
Experience
- Minimum 2 years industrial experience.
- Hands on experience in mechanical equipment maintenance, thermal and hydraulic machines, HVAC systems, rotating and conveying mechanisms, etc.
- Equipment Troubleshooting hands on experience.

- Malfunctions and technical trouble shooting ability.
- Can lead modifications and small projects.
- Capable of executing planned activities.
- Able to do mechanical works independently.

- Can coordinate with suppliers and contractors for requested parts and works with RFQ.
