About the Role
As a Machine Set up Operator here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in preparing and configuring machinery to ensure efficient and accurate production processes. You will be responsible for setting up machines according to specifications, performing quality checks, and collaborating with the production team to maintain smooth operations. You will report directly to our Production Supervisor, and you’ll work out of our Freeport, IL location on an on-site.

Responsibilities
- Set up and adjust machinery and equipment to meet production specifications and quality standards.
- Conduct routine inspections and quality checks to ensure machine performance and product consistency.
- Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to troubleshoot and resolve machine issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of machine setups, adjustments, and production outputs.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications
- YOU MUST HAVE
- Experience in machine setup and operation within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of machine tools and equipment, including the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Proficiency in performing quality inspections and using measurement tools to ensure product accuracy.
- Familiarity with safety standards and the ability to maintain a safe working environment.
- Basic troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve machine issues efficiently.

- 1-3 years of experience in machine setup or manufacturing operations.
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.

- The salary range for this position is ($35,400.00 – $44,300.00). Please note that this information serves as a general guideline.
