About the Role

Responsibilities
- Setup equipment by loading and unloading robotic shotpeen work centers
- Follow part process techniques, operation sketches, and special handler instructions
- Work alongside Process Technicians to optimize machines and produce quality parts
- Monitor and optimize efficiencies of the automated line
- Read OP sketches and work instructions to identify requirements
- Minimize and mitigate machine downtime using the ANDON system
- Maintain acceptable production, quality levels, and departmental equipment
- Practice safety and maintain good housekeeping
- Support continuous improvement, 5S activities, and Standard Work Development
Requirements
- High school diploma
- Minimum one year of relevant manufacturing experience
- Strong PC skills and understanding of written work instructions
- Demonstrated experience in material handling and hoist operations
- Eligible to work in Canada and meet ITAR/CCGP requirements

Job Overview
- Collins Aerospace is looking to hire a Machine Operator Shotpeen to support and maintain the robotic shot peening process.
- Work Shift: Weekday Afternoon (Monday Thursday (4x10); 4:00 pm 2:00 am).
What You Will Do
- Setup equipment by loading and unloading of robotic shotpeen work centers.
- Follow part process techniques, operation sketches and special handler instructions.

Qualifications You Must Have
- High school diploma.
- Minimum of one year of relevant manufacturing experience.
- Strong PC skills and understanding of written work instructions.
- Demonstrated experience in material handling and hoist operations.
- Eligible to work in Canada; must meet all requirements under ITAR and CCGP.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Demonstrated ability to operate and use an overhead crane in a safe manner.
