Machine Operator III (Second Shift)

Emerald Technologies has an exciting opportunity for a Machine Operator III on its Saline, MI team!

This is a second shift opportunity.

The Machine Operator III is a senior-level performs complex machine operations with a high degree of technical skills including complex setups and adjustments, quality control, real time optimization, routine maintenance and troubleshooting.

• Set up, operate, and shut down assigned equipment in accordance with established procedures.
• Perform basic programming and preventive maintenance tasks; maintain accurate logs and documentation.
• Ensure all products meet quality specifications and production schedules.
• Notify the Machine Group Leader of any quality issues or deviations.
• Profile Wave equipment to achieve proper reflow performance.
• Handle and dispose of dross from leaded and non-leaded solder in compliance with safety and environmental standards.
• Maintain fixtures and perform routine fixture maintenance.
• Replace materials in pressure pots for conformal coating processes.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following safety protocols and using appropriate protective equipment.
• Support cross-functional teams and assist in continuous improvement initiatives.in conformal coating and other production tasks as required.
