Logistics Supply Specialist

This position will be a full-time position available, in Picatinny Arsenal, for a Logistics Supply Specialist with Army supply background (92Y or 91A).

This role requires an individual to be familiar with Army supply forms and regulations, issuing equipment, turning in equipment, inventory process, creating sub-hand receipts, and prepping equipment for turn-in.

What will you be doing?

This position will be a key member of DEVCOM AC.

• Responsible for performing duties involving the request, receipt, storage, issue, accountability, and preservation of individual, organizational, installation, and expendable supplies and equipment.
• Supply Operations & Handling: Receives, inspects, inventories, loads, unloads, segregates, stores, issues, delivers, and turns in organizational and installation supplies and equipment.
• Documentation & Automation: Prepares all unit- and organizational-level supply documents and operates unit-level computers (ULC) to maintain automated supply systems for accounting. These systems include but are not limited to GCSS (G-Army), AESIP, DLA, SAP, MS Excel, Adobe forms and similar database systems. The individual will need to be familiar with Army Logistics Systems (ALS), supply form, and supply regulations.
• Records Maintenance: Prepares and maintains physical and digital organizational supply records, forms, and files with great attention to detail for serial #s, quantities, and condition of supplies / equipment.
• Physical Demands: Routinely lifts, lowers, and carry heavy equipment (less than 50 lbs.) (such as weapons cases, cases of paper, IT equipment, and supply totes) while wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
