This position will conduct cathodic protection surveys, cathodic protection repairs and installations, corrosion control services and corrosion inspections.
Most jobs are within the Pennsylvania/New Jersey/New York/Maryland vicinity.
The ideal candidate will reside within driving distance of these areas.
You may rent a vehicle or drive your own vehicle for project travel.
You will be reimbursed for tolls and the mileage rate as listed on gsa.gov when driving your own vehicle. 30% travel is estimated for jobs across the continental US requiring air travel.
The ideal candidate will reside within approximately 1 hour travel time to a major airport.
An AMPP/NACE Cathodic Protection Tester (CP1) certification is required.
What will you be doing?
This position will be a key member of the Cathodic Protection/Corrosion team.

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to: Grasping, kneeling, lifting (objects up to 50 pounds), bending, stooping, climbing, crawling, pulling hand over hand, reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time. Administrative Requirements (Both Field & Office) include but are not limited to: Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone/video calls.
