Role Overview
The Logistics Specialist manages regional direct-supply, cross-trade, drop-shipment, spare-parts, and service-logistics functions.
The role coordinates end-to-end visibility, documentation accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery across regional logistics networks.
The position provides operational backup to regional warehouse operations and transport and customs leads during leave, peak periods, and disruptions.
Direct Supply and Drop Shipments
- Manage Direct Asia and factory-to-customer shipments from cargo readiness through final delivery.
- Coordinate factories, suppliers, freight forwarders, distributors, and internal teams.
- Manage bookings, loading schedules, shipping instructions, document switching, pre-alerts, and shipment tracking.
- Validate invoices, packing lists, serial-number files, certificates of origin, quantities, weights, and shipping documents.
- Maintain shipment milestones, ETAs, delays, outstanding actions, exceptions, route changes, and business-continuity requirements.
Spare-Parts and Service Logistics
- Manage spare-parts movements from suppliers and factories to warehouses, service centres, distributors, or customers.
