- Support fair, transparent, and timely execution of logistics activities, including coordination with vendors and internal stakeholders.

- Help ensure timely delivery of goods and services to meet operational and production needs.
- Support monitoring of logistics spend and ensure compliance with contracts across transportation and distribution activities.
- Coordinate with logistics vendors to ensure timely service delivery and adherence to agreed terms.
- Track and report logistics performance, savings, and key operational metrics to support management decisions.
- Monitor carrier performance, service levels, and market trends to identify opportunities for cost reduction and service improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum 5–6 years of progressive procurement experience, including operational procurement, compliance, and governance
- Proven experience managing tenders, contracts, suppliers, and spend optimization in a complex organization
- Professional certifications such as CIPS, CPSM, or equivalent are preferred
- Strong knowledge of procurement governance, compliance, and best practices
- Financial acumen with strong cost and spend analysis skills
- Proficiency in ERP and procurement systems

Job Purpose
- The Logistics Officer supports operational excellence across the Group by ensuring compliance, efficiency, and process adherence in all logistics activities.
- The role assists in executing transparent, competitive, and value driven logistics and sourcing practices, contributes to effective spending and contract management, and helps maintain strong supplier governance.
- By collaborating with internal stakeholders and external partners, the role ensures timely and efficient logistics operations while upholding the Group’s ethical standards and values.
Logistics Operational Excellence
- Ensure logistics activities comply with approved policies, SOPs, and governance standards.
- Support efficient, transparent, and timely execution of logistics processes to achieve optimal cost, quality, and service outcomes.
- Assisting in identifying opportunities for cost optimization and process improvement across transportation and distribution activities.
- Follow established controls to minimize operational risks, non compliance, and inefficiencies in logistics operations.
- Support continuous improvement of logistics processes, documentation, and reporting to enhance operational effectiveness.
Logistics Operational Support & Process Compliance
- Support fair, transparent, and timely execution of logistics activities, including coordination with vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Assist in ensuring that logistics and procurement activities comply with technical, commercial, and operational requirements.
- Verify that vendors and logistics partners meet required compliance standards and internal policies before engagement.
- Help ensure timely delivery of goods and services to meet operational and production needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to policies, procedures, and audit requirements throughout logistics operations.
Logistics Cost Optimization & Spend Control
- Support monitoring of logistics spend and ensure compliance with contracts across transportation and distribution activities.
- Assist in driving cost transparency, efficiency, and control in daily logistics operations.
- Coordinate with logistics vendors to ensure timely service delivery and adherence to agreed terms.
- Track and report logistics performance, savings, and key operational metrics to support management decisions.
- Support the implementation of process improvements and best practices to enhance operational efficiency.
- Monitor carrier performance, service levels, and market trends to identify opportunities for cost reduction and service improvement.
Logistics Execution Excellence & Service Reliability
- Enhance logistics and procurement process efficiency, reducing cycle times and improving service delivery.
- Strengthen collaboration and alignment with internal stakeholders across business units.
- Serve as a reliable logistics and procurement advisor to operational and functional teams.
- Monitor and improve internal customer satisfaction with logistics and procurement services.
- Implement systems, tools, and automation to increase process visibility, reliability, and overall efficiency.
Process Excellence, Vendor Performance & Risk Management
- Support logistics and sourcing processes through adherence to standardized procedures and best practices.
- Assist in monitoring vendor performance, compliance, and service quality.
- Track and report vendor performance metrics to ensure reliability and accountability.
- Ensure vendors comply with ESG, AML, ethical, and regulatory requirements.
- Identify potential vendor or logistics risks and escalate to management for mitigation.
- Support maintenance of approved vendor lists, due diligence, and onboarding controls.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as CIPS, CPSM, or equivalent are preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 5–6 years of progressive procurement experience, including operational procurement, compliance, and governance.
- Proven experience managing tenders, contracts, suppliers, and spend optimization in a complex organization.
- Experience in group or multi business environments is preferred.
