Job Summary
The Logistics Manager will oversee transportation, warehousing, inventory movement, and order fulfilment.
The role ensures goods are received, stored, and delivered safely, accurately, and on schedule while controlling logistics costs.
Employment and Compensation
- The position is full-time and based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
- The stated salary is AED 10,000–13,000 per month, all-inclusive, depending on UAE logistics experience, managerial scope, customs and freight knowledge, and Odoo proficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and manage inbound and outbound logistics operations.
- Coordinate transportation, shipping, customs clearance, warehousing, and delivery activities.
- Ensure timely receipt, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of goods.
- Manage freight forwarders, couriers, transporters, and clearing agents.
- Monitor inventory movement and system records.
- Develop delivery routes and transportation schedules.
- Track shipments and resolve delays or documentation issues.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and monitor logistics costs.
- Establish KPIs for delivery, accuracy, cost, and service.
- Lead warehouse and logistics personnel and collaborate with procurement, sales, finance, and customer service.
Qualifications and Experience
- A bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
- At least 5–7 years of logistics and warehouse experience, including supervisory or managerial experience, is required.
- Strong knowledge of freight, customs clearance, inventory control, and distribution is required.
- Experience with ERP, warehouse-management, and transport-management systems is required.
- Strong planning, problem-solving, negotiation, and leadership skills are required.
- UAE driving licence and local route knowledge are advantages.
- Technology or manufacturing industry experience is preferred.
- Odoo experience is required for logistics, inventory, warehouse records, shipment tracking, reporting, approvals, and related workflows.
