Responsibilities
- Supervise daily logistics operations across the construction site
- Coordinate labour allocation for logistics activities, material handling, site setup, housekeeping, and movement of equipment
- Manage vertical and horizontal transport activities including hoists, access routes, ramps, loading areas, and material movement
- Support movement, storage, and distribution of materials across site locations
- Coordinate with subcontractors, site teams, operators, drivers, and suppliers for smooth logistics operations
- Monitor plant and equipment usage including forklifts, cranes, hoists, telehandlers, and other logistics related machinery
- Ensure safe loading, unloading, shifting, and storage of materials
- Maintain proper housekeeping, access control, traffic flow, and safety arrangements on site
- Assist in welfare area setup and maintenance
- Report equipment breakdowns, servicing requirements, unsafe conditions, and operational delays to Logistics Engineer
- Ensure compliance with site safety rules, PPE requirements, method statements, risk assessments, and toolbox talk instructions
- Assist in maintaining logistics records, daily reports, manpower records, plant usage logs, and delivery records
Requirements
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in construction logistics, site supervision, or related site operations
- Previous experience in building construction, infrastructure, or large scale construction projects
- Good knowledge of site logistics, material movement, plant coordination, access control, and housekeeping
- Ability to supervise workers, operators, drivers, and subcontractor teams
- Basic understanding of HSE requirements, lifting operations, and site safety procedures
- Ability to read basic site layouts, logistics plans, and work instructions
- Good communication and coordination skills

Role Overview
- The Logistics Foreman is responsible for supervising and coordinating daily logistics activities on a construction site.
- The role supports the Logistics Engineer and project team in managing material movement, labour allocation, plant coordination, site access, welfare areas, housekeeping, and general site logistics operations.
- Ensures all logistics activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and in line with project requirements.

- Basic reporting skills and ability to maintain daily logs.
- UAE construction experience will be an advantage.
