About the Role
Auxilium is seeking an AI First Developer to design, develop, and scale Nexus, a workforce operations platform. You will work across the full stack using TypeScript, React, Node.js, and PostgreSQL, leveraging AI coding tools daily.

Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, deploy, and maintain features across the Nexus platform
- Develop modern web applications using TypeScript, React, Node.js, and PostgreSQL
- Use AI development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, Replit, Lovable to accelerate development
- Build AI assisted workflows and internal productivity tools
- Design and implement agentic systems, autonomous workflows, and intelligent process automation
- Develop and maintain integrations with Microsoft 365, Xero, HR/payroll systems, and third party APIs
- Support deployment, monitoring, and operational management of applications
- Develop and maintain automated and manual testing strategies
- Create and maintain technical documentation
Requirements
- Approximately 1+ years of hands on software development experience
- Experience delivering software used by real customers or businesses
- Demonstrated experience using AI coding tools in production or project environments
- Experience building and deploying full stack applications
- Experience working with APIs, databases, and cloud hosted systems
- Strong portfolio of work (GitHub, personal projects, commercial applications, etc.)

About Auxilium
- Auxilium is building the next generation of HR, Employer of Record (EOR), and payroll technology for the GCC.
- Nexus is our proprietary platform that manages employee onboarding/offboarding, payroll, workforce administration, compliance workflows, and the complete EOR lifecycle.
- We are looking for an AI First Developer who embraces modern AI powered development practices to help accelerate Nexus.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, deploy, and maintain features across the Nexus platform.
- Develop modern web applications using TypeScript, React, Node.js, and PostgreSQL.
- Use AI development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, Replit, Lovable to accelerate development.
- Build AI assisted workflows and internal productivity tools.
- Design and implement agentic systems, autonomous workflows, and intelligent process automation.
- Develop and maintain integrations with Microsoft 365, Xero, HR/payroll systems, and third party APIs.
- Support deployment, monitoring, and operational management of applications.

Minimum Qualifications
- No specific degree or formal qualification required; a strong portfolio of work is essential.
- Approximately 1+ years of hands on software development experience.
- Experience delivering software used by real customers or businesses.
- Demonstrated experience using AI coding tools in production or project environments.
- Experience building and deploying full stack applications.
- Experience working with APIs, databases, and cloud hosted systems.
Technical Skills
- Frontend: React, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, modern frontend frameworks and component libraries.
- Backend: Node.js, Express.js or equivalent frameworks, REST API development, authentication and authorization systems.
- Database: PostgreSQL, Neon Serverless PostgreSQL, database design and optimization, SQL performance tuning.
- Cloud & Infrastructure: AWS fundamentals, deployment pipelines, monitoring and logging, backup and recovery procedures, basic DevOps practices.
- AI Development: Claude Code, Cursor, Replit, Lovable, agentic workflows, MCP integrations, prompt engineering, AI assisted software delivery.
Preferred Experience
- HR Technology, Employer of Record (EOR) platforms, Payroll systems, Workforce management solutions.
- Microsoft Graph integrations, Xero integrations, GCC employment processes, Compliance automation.
- ISO 27001 environments, State machine architecture, Event driven systems, Workflow orchestration platforms.
