Role Overview
The Logistics Executive plans and coordinates Logistics department activities, improves operating practices, controls costs, and supports service quality.
The role includes supplier negotiations, team coaching, logistics reporting, documentation, system updates, and compliance with logistics procedures.
Core Responsibilities
- Plan activities and tasks for the Logistics department.
- Identify work practices that meet company logistics requirements and expectations.
- Improve logistics and transportation operations and increase efficiency.
- Negotiate with suppliers on logistics and transportation matters.
- Minimize logistics costs while maintaining required service quality.
- Manage daily logistics work plans and match targets to prepared plans.
- Prepare logistics cost reports and set budgets.
- Coach people to improve performance and efficiency.
- Maintain logistics documentation, registrations, records, systems, and trackers.
- Prepare shipment, delivery, and import trackers and reports.
- Ensure compliance with company standards and logistics SOPs.
Work Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business or Transportation Management is required.
- Two to three years of experience in logistics management is required.
- Computer literacy and experience in strategic sourcing are required.
- Knowledge of local and international suppliers is required.
- Strong reporting and logistics or transportation management skills are required.
- Ability to build and develop effective supplier relationships is required.
- Knowledge of ERP management systems is required.
- Experience controlling logistics costs, preparing cost reports, or managing budgets is relevant to the role.
- Experience with logistics SOPs and compliance procedures is relevant to the role.
Compensation
- The salary is AED 6,000 to AED 7,000 per month.
Workplace
- The role is full-time and performed in person.
