Role overview
The Logistics Analyst supports long-term network capacity planning and resource allocation in a last-mile logistics operation.
The role works across station, operational, delivery, and regional capacity considerations.
Responsibilities
- Assess current capacity against long-term forecasts and planning to identify gaps.
- Oversee station capacity across physical specifications, equipment, staffing, layouts, driver availability, vehicles, and parcel mix.
- Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Finance, and other departments to provide network capacity visibility.
- Identify capacity risks and propose mitigation strategies.
- Develop logistics strategies, prepare management reports, and represent capacity in the S&OP process.
- Assess regional opportunities where faster service could increase market share.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field is required.
- Three to five years of relevant experience is required.
- Proficiency in data analysis, statistical modeling, and complex dataset analysis using tools such as Excel, SQL, or other relevant software is required.
- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, communication, and stakeholder presentation skills are required.
- Strong entrepreneurial mindset and meticulous attention to detail are required.
