Role Overview

The Operations Analyst analyzes business performance and supports operational efficiency, productivity, profitability, and continuous improvement.

The role works with station operations, cross-functional teams, and the continuous improvement function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze business performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Coordinate strategies with the continuous improvement team to optimize operational efficiency.
  • Conduct data analysis and recommend improvements to productivity and profitability.
  • Create reports and presentations for management.
  • Collaborate across functions to implement process improvements.
  • Monitor performance metrics and progress toward operational goals.
  • Identify risks and provide mitigation solutions.
  • Participate in the War Room initiative during peak seasons.
  • Support the three pillars of the Control Tower.
  • Support change management for departmental innovations.
  • Stay current on station challenges, industry trends, and operations analysis best practices.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Three to five years of relevant experience as an Operations Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency, including PivotTables, formulas, and data analysis.
  • Experience with data analysis tools and techniques; Power BI is an asset.
  • Experience with Lean or Six Sigma process improvement methodologies is an asset.
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Availability for occasional short-distance travel within the Quebec–Ontario region.
