Role Overview
The Loan Processing Clerk supports lending operations through documentation management, application administration, data verification, and stakeholder coordination.
The role involves managing sensitive information accurately and efficiently within structured financial processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Review loan applications and supporting documentation for completeness.
- Maintain accurate application, document, and processing records.
- Assist with data entry and verification of customer and loan information.
- Track application status, pending requirements, and follow-up actions.
- Coordinate information between lending, operations, and customer service teams.
- Identify missing or inconsistent information and escalate issues.
- Prepare basic processing reports, summaries, and administrative updates.
- Support timely completion of assigned loan-processing activities.
- Maintain confidentiality when handling financial and customer information.
- Contribute to workflow improvements that increase accuracy and efficiency.
