Live-in Private Chef

Overview

Key Responsibilities:1. Meal Planning & Preparation

• Plan and prepare daily meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks) based on the Principal’s preferences and dietary requirements
• Design diverse, nutritious, and well-balanced menus, including international cuisines
• Accommodate special dietary needs (e.g., health-focused, allergies, or specific nutritional plans)
• Ensure all meals are prepared and presented to the highest standards

2. Kitchen Management

• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked kitchen at all times
• Oversee food inventory, grocery shopping, and supplier coordination
• Ensure proper storage and handling of all ingredients
• Monitor kitchen equipment and arrange maintenance when required

3. Food Service Support

• Coordinate with the Butler or household staff for meal service timing and presentation
• Prepare meals for family members and guests, including small gatherings or formal occasions
• Ensure seamless execution of meal service in line with household standards

4. Dietary & Nutritional Oversight

• Stay informed about the Principal’s dietary preferences, restrictions, and health goals
• Provide recommendations for healthy eating and menu variations
• Adjust menus as required based on feedback or changing needs

5. Travel & Flexibility

• Travel with the Principal when required to provide consistent culinary service
• Prepare and organize meals during travel or coordinate with external providers when necessary
• Adapt to flexible schedules, including weekends and special events

6. Hygiene & Compliance

• Maintain strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards
• Ensure compliance with local health regulations and best practices
• Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and personal grooming

Qualifications & Requirements

• Proven experience as a Private Chef or in a high-end hospitality environment
• Strong knowledge of international cuisines and modern cooking techniques
• Ability to create personalized menus and adapt to specific dietary requirements
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• High level of discretion, professionalism, and confidentiality
• Ability to work independently and within a household team
• Flexibility to work irregular hours and travel when required
