Role Overview
An established legal practice in Doha is seeking an Associate to join its Litigation team.
The role suits a disputes lawyer with 3 to 5 years of experience who has developed legal research, drafting, and case management skills.
The position offers the opportunity to develop a contentious practice while working with experienced senior lawyers.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare correspondence and legal documents, including pleadings, briefs, applications, and settlement agreements.
- Conduct legal research and assist with hearings and legal proceedings.
- Provide support to senior lawyers and help develop solutions for clients.
- Support negotiations on behalf of clients.
- Work with colleagues and clients to ensure matters progress effectively.
- Maintain accurate client files and up-to-date case information.
Candidate Requirements
- Have 3 to 5 years of general litigation experience in a law firm or legal practice.
- Have essential Middle East experience; GCC court experience is advantageous.
- Demonstrate strong legal knowledge and the ability to research complex matters and identify applicable laws.
