Position
Linux System Administrator role based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
The position requires onsite work.
The engagement is a three-month contract that may be extended.
The expected start is immediate or as soon as available.
Experience and Technical Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience is required.
- Proficiency in Red Hat Enterprise Linux administration is required.
- Knowledge of system installation, configuration, and management is required.
- Strong troubleshooting skills are needed for performance problems and hardware failures.
- Experience with DNS, DHCP, and LDAP services is required.
- Shell scripting and Ansible automation skills are required.
- Understanding of firewalls, encryption, and access control is required.
- Experience with VMware virtualization is required.
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and Red Hat OpenShift is required.
- Experience with LVM, RAID, backup, and disaster recovery solutions is required.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills are required.
- The role requires working shifts.
Responsibilities
- Administer Red Hat Enterprise Linux systems and perform system installation, configuration, and management.
