The position is Appointed Person for Lifting Operations (APLO), presented under the Lifting Supervisor job title.
The role covers oil and gas lifting activities in offshore and onshore environments.
Work Schedule
- Work hours are 10 hours per day, 6 days per week.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum three-year diploma in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
- At least five years of relevant oil and gas offshore and onshore lifting experience in a similar position.
- Adequate training and hands-on professional experience to act competently as an Appointed Person for lifting equipment.
Lifting Operations
- Write lifting plans and supervise and execute critical lifting in oil and gas companies.
- Lead crane operators, riggers, and banksmen in safe lifting practices across different organizational locations.
- Maintain focus on HSE priorities during lifting operations.
Standards and Training
- Be familiar with international standards related to lifting engineering practices.
- Have sufficient knowledge to interpret standards and support excellence in change management.
- Complete the four-day Appointed Person course through an ADNOC Group-approved training company using an approved tutor.
- Be assessed every three years as defined in the applicable requirement.
