Job Summary
Bright Accord General Contracting is seeking an experienced and safety-focused Lifting Supervisor for its building construction team.
The role supervises and coordinates lifting and rigging activities while ensuring compliance with approved lifting plans, HSE requirements, and project procedures.
Workplace and Employment
- Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE.
- Employment type: Full-time.
- Work location: In person.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate lifting and rigging activities on construction sites.
- Ensure lifting operations follow approved lifting plans and method statements.
- Coordinate with crane operators, riggers, signalmen or banksmen, site engineers, and HSE personnel.
- Inspect cranes, lifting equipment, slings, shackles, and other lifting accessories before use.
- Ensure lifting equipment and accessories have valid third-party inspection certificates.
- Verify rigging, slinging, signaling, load handling, and exclusion-zone procedures.
- Conduct pre-lift briefings and toolbox talks before lifting activities.
- Monitor operations, stop unsafe work when required, and maintain lifting records and checklists.
- Ensure compliance with company HSE procedures and UAE safety requirements.
