Role Overview
Join a project team as an HSE Engineer supporting onshore construction activities.
Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and practices in compliance with project requirements, UAE regulations, and client standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor the project HSE Management System and procedures.
- Conduct site inspections, safety audits, and safety observations.
- Identify hazards and ensure appropriate control measures are implemented.
- Prepare and review risk assessments, method statements, and HSE plans.
- Monitor compliance with the Permit to Work system.
- Conduct HSE inductions, toolbox talks, safety meetings, and awareness programs.
- Monitor lifting, work at height, excavation, confined-space, hot-work, and temporary-works activities.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions.
- Follow up HSE observations, NCRs, and corrective or preventive actions until closure.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly HSE reports and statistics.
- Coordinate with construction teams, subcontractors, and client representatives.
- Support emergency response drills and promote a strong safety culture.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, HSE, or a related discipline.
