About the Role

Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough examinations and inspections of lifting equipment and lifting accessories.
- Inspect and certify offshore containers in accordance with applicable standards and company procedures.
- Perform visual inspections, dimensional checks, functional tests, and proof load tests where applicable.
- Identify defects, deterioration, excessive wear, corrosion, deformation, and other conditions affecting safe operation.
- Recommend repairs, rejection, or replacement of equipment that does not meet acceptance criteria.
- Prepare accurate inspection reports, certificates, and supporting documentation.
- Comply with all HSE policies and safe working practices during onsite and offshore inspections.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of hands on experience in inspection, examination, testing, and certification of lifting equipment and lifting accessories.
- LEEA Lifting Accessories (LAC) Diploma Certificate
- Offshore Container Diploma Certificate
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification (preferred)
- Good knowledge of lifting equipment inspection principles and practices
- Familiarity with cranes, hoists, chain slings, wire rope slings, shackles, hooks, eyebolts, lifting beams, spreader beams, and other lifting accessories
- Knowledge of offshore containers and associated inspection requirements
- Strong report writing and documentation skills
