Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all lifting operations at the worksite
- Ensure lifting activities are conducted in accordance with approved lifting plans, risk assessments, and safety procedures
- Verify that cranes, lifting equipment, and accessories are properly inspected, certified, and fit for use
- Conduct pre lift meetings and toolbox talks with crane operators, riggers, signalmen, and relevant personnel
- Monitor lifting operations to ensure compliance with site safety requirements and industry standards
- Assess site conditions and identify potential hazards before lifting activities commence
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and HSE personnel regarding lifting schedules and requirements
- Stop any unsafe lifting operation and implement corrective actions when necessary
- Maintain records of lifting activities, inspections, certifications, and related documentation
- Ensure proper communication between crane operators, riggers, and signalmen during lifting operations
- Investigate and report lifting related incidents, near misses, and safety concerns
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience as a Lift Supervisor in construction, oil & gas, industrial, or related projects
- Valid Lift Supervisor certification from a recognized authority or training provider
- Strong knowledge of lifting operations, crane safety, rigging practices, and lifting equipment
- Familiarity with international safety standards and local regulations
- Ability to read and interpret lifting plans, load charts, and technical drawings
- Good leadership, communication, and team coordination skills
- Strong problem solving and decision making abilities
- Proficient in preparing reports and maintaining operational records
- Physically fit and capable of working in demanding site conditions

Job Summary
- We are seeking an experienced and responsible Lift Supervisor with a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience to oversee lifting operations and ensure all activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company procedures and applicable regulations.
- The Lift Supervisor will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising all lifting activities while ensuring the safety of personnel, equipment, and materials.
