HSE Manager

Overview

• Education and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or above in Safety Engineering, Environmental Engineering or related majors; Hold Certified Safety Engineer certificate and internal auditor qualifications for ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety Management System) and ISO 14001 (Environmental Management System); Must be familiar with Dubai's "Local Order No. 11 of 2003 on Social Health and Safety" and labor dormitory compliance requirements.
• Work Experience: At least 8 years of HSE management experience in the construction industry, including no less than 4 years of full-cycle HSE management experience in Dubai residential construction projects; Have experience in on-site safety control, labor health protection and emergency system establishment for large-scale residential projects; Familiar with Dubai Municipality's HSE inspection processes and special risk prevention and control requirements such as fire, high temperature and high-altitude operations.
• Professional Skills: Proficient in the establishment, operation and optimization of HSE management systems; Able to independently compile project HSE plans, risk assessment reports (such as JSA) and emergency rescue plans; Master Dubai's local safety training standards, able to organize multinational laborers to carry out safety induction training, toolbox meetings, etc.; Have the ability to conduct accident investigations, track hidden danger rectifications and file compliance documents.
• Core Competencies: Fluent in English (working language), basic Arabic proficiency is preferred with strong sense of principle and on-site execution; Possess excellent cross-cultural communication and team management capabilities, able to effectively promote subcontractors to implement HSE responsibilities; Have keen risk identification capabilities, with strict control awareness on key links such as high-temperature operation protection, confined space operation permits and hoisting equipment safety; Able to adapt to on-site inspections and emergency handling of sudden safety incidents.
