Role Overview
Support hotel operations through guest-room housekeeping and swimming-pool safety responsibilities.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation and guest safety.
The role requires physical fitness, attention to detail, confidence in the water and calm emergency response.
Housekeeping Duties
- Clean and maintain assigned guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors and other designated areas.
- Replace bed linen, towels and guest amenities and replenish supplies and minibar items where applicable.
- Vacuum carpets, dust furniture and clean and sanitize bathrooms.
- Prepare rooms for guests and report equipment issues or damage.
- Respond to guest requests and follow Do Not Disturb and Make Up Room procedures.
- Handle guest belongings carefully and report lost and found items.
- Maintain housekeeping trolleys, linen and supply areas.
- Monitor supplies and request replenishment.
Lifeguard and Pool Safety
- Maintain continuous surveillance of the swimming pool and surrounding areas.
- Monitor swimmers, identify distress and enforce pool safety rules.
- Respond to emergencies and perform water rescues when required.
- Provide first aid, CPR and AED assistance in accordance with relevant training and certification.
- Check lifesaving and emergency equipment and report accidents, hazards and safety concerns.
- Maintain the pool area and participate in safety drills and relevant hotel training.
Requirements
- Be physically fit, attentive to detail, confident in the water and able to respond calmly in emergencies.
- Four years of housekeeping experience is preferred.
- Lifeguard or water-rescue, CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
