Job Description
- Supervises swimming activities and ensures safety policies are followed.
- Warns swimmers of improper activities and enforces pool regulations.
- Administers first aid, rescues swimmers, and performs CPR if necessary.
- Evaluates conditions for safety and initiates aquatics emergency action plan.
- Inspects pool facilities, equipment, and water.
- Supervises and assists in cleaning pool and related facilities, performs water tests, and adds chemicals.
- Instructs or assists in swimming classes.
- Resolves scheduling conflicts for safe pool environment.
- Reports incidents to Head Lifeguard and/or Director of Security.
Qualifications
- Ability to be efficient in a fast paced environment.
- Able to swim 400 meters in less than 8 minutes.
- Able to work under the sun over 45°C.
- Must have enthusiasm and excellent customer service skills.
- Enjoy working with people and possess a friendly personality.
- Excellent communication and listening skills.
- Must be a team player.
