About the Role
Grosvenor House Dubai and Le Royal Meridien Beach Resort & Spa is seeking a vigilant and guest-focused Lifeguard to ensure safety at beach and pool facilities. Responsibilities include monitoring water areas, responding to emergencies, enforcing safety rules, and providing excellent guest service.

Responsibilities
- Monitor beach, swimming pool, and recreational water areas to ensure guest safety at all times
- Respond promptly and effectively to aquatic emergencies, providing rescue assistance and first aid when required
- Enforce safety rules and regulations in accordance with resort policies
- Conduct regular inspections of rescue equipment, first aid kits, and safety signage
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe pool and beach environment
- Provide excellent guest service by answering questions and assisting guests in a professional and friendly manner
- Report accidents, incidents, hazards, and maintenance concerns to management
- Participate in emergency drills, training programs, and safety briefings
Requirements
- Valid Lifeguard Certification from a recognized institution
- Current First Aid, CPR, and AED Certification
- Minimum 1–2 years of lifeguarding experience, preferably in a hotel, resort, waterpark, or beach setting
- Strong swimming and rescue skills
- Excellent observation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and act decisively during emergencies
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends, public holidays, and evenings
- Good command of English; additional languages are an advantage

Job Overview
- We are currently seeking a vigilant, professional, and guest focused Lifeguard to join our team and ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all guests using our beach and pool facilities.
Key Responsibilities
