Responsibilities
- Monitor swimming pools and designated areas to protect guests and prevent accidents or drowning incidents.
- Maintain constant vigilance and respond immediately to emergencies, including water rescues.
- Perform first aid and CPR when required.
- Coordinate with emergency medical services during serious incidents.
- Enforce pool safety rules and ensure guests follow safety procedures.
- Inspect the pool area and safety equipment regularly.
- Report hazards or defects to the supervisor.
- Maintain accurate incident and daily activity reports and keep the pool area safe and organized.
Qualifications
- Minimum two years of relevant lifeguard experience, preferably in hotels, resorts, clubs, or similar facilities.
- Valid and recognized lifeguard license or certification.
- Valid first aid and CPR certification.
Work location
- Work is performed in person.
