Role Overview
Serve as an instructor for LSTC programs and support mandatory life support training for healthcare staff.
Maintain licensure and use available resources to meet training and compliance goals.
Responsibilities
- Develop curricula, agendas, reference materials, slides, and evaluation tools for basic and advanced programs.
- Administer written and performance evaluations and determine certification eligibility.
- Provide remediation and issue course completion cards and certificates.
- Organize and implement BLS, ACLS, and NRP mock code programs with monitoring and documentation.
- Prepare classrooms and skill labs for teaching and testing.
- Collate test results in the SHA portal and maintain appropriate documentation.
- Participate in outreach programs and teach life support courses at other healthcare organizations as assigned.
Clinical and Operational Coordination
- Follow infection control policies for equipment cleaning and assist with troubleshooting.
- Manage equipment inventory and support procurement of training equipment and supplies.
- Meet with managers, unit directors, and departments to review training compliance and implement LSTC workflows.
- Communicate with multidisciplinary teams in clinical and educational settings.
