Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts including supply/purchase agreements, service agreements, sponsorship agreements, lease agreements and employment related agreements
- Provide sound legal advice on a broad range of commercial and contractual matters
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders including human capital, procurement, marketing, facilities, and finance teams
- Promote legal, compliance and risk management best practice throughout the company
Requirements
- Qualified lawyer in a Common Law jurisdiction or the US, with preference for candidates qualified under the laws of England and Wales
- Minimum of 8 years of post qualification experience in commercial law
- Excellent knowledge of transaction processes, commercial acumen, and robust understanding of the law
- Strong knowledge of the laws of England and Wales, ADGM law and UAE companies' law
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to be an effective team player and collaborate with multi disciplinary teams
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent supervisory skills with experience in mentoring and developing junior lawyers

- We are seeking a visionary and strategic leader to join our team as Legal Director, reporting directly to the Vice President of Legal Affairs.

What we're looking for
