The Legal Director at فرصة + مهارة is a part-time, remote role responsible for overseeing the organization’s legal affairs and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Day-to-day tasks include reviewing and drafting contracts and legal documents, advising on regulatory and compliance matters, and assessing legal risks related to operations, partnerships, and new initiatives.

The Legal Director will provide legal consulting support to leadership, develop internal policies and guidelines, and coordinate with external legal counsel when needed.

The role also involves supporting dispute resolution, training team members on legal and compliance topics, and maintaining accurate, organized legal records.

• Strong background in Law, with demonstrated experience handling a broad range of Legal Issues.
• Proficiency in Legal Consulting, including providing clear, practical legal guidance to non-legal stakeholders.
• Experience in Legal Document Preparation, such as drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, policies, and agreements.
• Excellent Communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts in accessible language and collaborate across teams.
• Licensed attorney or equivalent legal qualification in relevant jurisdiction(s), with experience in corporate, nonprofit, or education-focused organizations preferred.
• Knowledge of compliance, data protection, and regulatory frameworks related to digital platforms and remote work environments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with attention to detail and high ethical standards.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage part-time hours effectively, and prioritize multiple matters.
