Role Description
The Country Director – UAE is a part-time, remote role leading فرصة + مهارة’s strategic presence and operations in the United Arab Emirates.
The role oversees program implementation, partnerships, country strategy, performance monitoring, budgets, resources, and organizational representation.
The position collaborates virtually with cross-functional and cross-cultural colleagues in other locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee program implementation and maintain alignment with regional and global objectives.
- Build and maintain partnerships with government entities, NGOs, private-sector organizations, and educational institutions.
- Identify market needs and shape country-level strategies.
- Monitor performance metrics to drive impact and growth.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams and manage budgets and resources.
- Ensure effective governance and compliance with local regulations.
- Represent the organization in meetings, events, and networks.
- Work independently while collaborating virtually with colleagues in other locations.
