Legal consultant (interim) - project development/project finance

Role Profile We are currently looking for lawyers with 5 to 7 years top tier post qualification experience in project development or project finance to join our panel to meet the demands of our clients. Examples of some of our recent opportunities : Project finance lawyer needed for energy client to assist with the project financing of power and water assets based in Abu Dhabi Project development lawyer with procurement and contract experience to support a client based in KSA remotely from UAE Projects lawyer working for an oil & gas client advising and negotiating EPC, O&M and other related infrastructure contracts based in Abu Dhabi Our Criteria Successful candidates will: have at least four years' PQE in a law firm ranked as top tier for project finance or project development ideally have recent in-house legal experience across corporates, financial institutions and sovereign entities; preferably have experience in the Middle East and fluency in Arabic; have a desire to take ownership of their career and be responsible for their own professional development and network, proactively making use of any support and resources available; have researched the personal and financial factors that you need to consider when commencing a career as a legal consultant and be comfortable with the ways in which it differs from permanent employment; have a consultant mindset, including a highly professional, flexible and adaptable outlook and approach; and have a practising certificate (or equivalent) which entitles them to practise as a lawyer in the region.
