Full-time, mid-level General Ledger Specialist role.
The role manages general ledger activities, reconciliations, journal entries, closing, and financial reporting support.
The position supports accurate financial records, accounting operations, and compliance with standards and internal policies.
Key responsibilities
- Manage daily general ledger activities, journal entries, postings, and transactions.
- Prepare, review, and post journal entries with supporting documentation.
- Perform periodic account reconciliations and support closing processes.
- Review accounts for discrepancies, unusual transactions, and errors.
- Maintain accurate financial records under accounting policies and standards.
- Prepare account analyses, reconciliation reports, schedules, and management support.
- Assist with financial statements, management reports, and analysis.
- Coordinate with AP, AR, Payroll, Treasury, and Finance teams.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies and reconciliation issues.
- Support accruals, prepayments, provisions, depreciation, and intercompany transactions.
- Assist audits and tax reporting activities where required.
- Improve accounting processes, controls, automation, reporting, and ERP systems.
