Position Overview
Orion Group seeks a Learning and Development Coordinator to manage Orion University's academies, live events, and learning sessions.
The role involves roster creation, scheduling, logistics, and content builds.
Prior instructional design or coordination experience is preferred, but training and mentorship are provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Own roster creation and management across multiple concurrent academies and programs.
- Independently manage the Orion University master calendar and event schedule.
- Coordinate logistics end-to-end for live and virtual events.
- Attend live events in person as the on-site point of contact.
- Build and edit eLearning modules and SCORM packages independently.
- Post, update, and maintain the Cornerstone course catalog and LMS content.
- Serve as day-to-day point of contact for SMEs, OpCos, and vendors on scheduling and logistics questions.
- Own participant communications (registration, reminders, follow-up).
- Track and report attendance, completion, and satisfaction data across assigned programs.
- Maintain and improve checklists and process documentation for recurring program cycles.
- Provide on-the-ground research and training-creation support as program needs arise.
