Role Overview
Coordinate all Permit to Work activities during hook-up and commissioning, including brownfield tie-ins, isolation design, risk assessments, HAZIDs, and SIMOPS.
The role supports PTW planning, execution, safety compliance, project schedules, and commissioning activities in Qatar.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the focal point for permits issued during hook-up and commissioning phases.
- Verify PTW applications, isolations, and risk assessments before submission.
- Quality-check permits, supporting documents, certificates, approvals, and signatures.
- Audit permits, isolations, confined space entry, and gas-testing requirements.
- Attend PTW coordination and SIMOPS meetings and coordinate activities across project teams.
- Prepare daily and weekly PTW reports and liaise with contractors and subcontractors.
- Monitor contractor progress, identify PTW issues, and capture failure modes for lessons learned.
- Coordinate isolation requirements and support transfer of systems to the HUC and operations PTW system.
- Conduct audits to verify that work is controlled according to project requirements and standards.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- At least 8 years of relevant experience in a similar PTW Coordinator role.
