Position Summary
Drive operational excellence, eliminate waste, and optimize production and processing workflows across Tayf's operational facilities.
Implement Lean Six Sigma methods, standardized work, Kaizen events, and OEE improvements while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Map current- and future-state workflows to identify bottlenecks, cycle-time variation, and non-value-added activities.
- Facilitate shop-floor Kaizen blitzes targeting setup reduction, 5S, line balancing, and material-flow improvements.
- Develop and implement SOPs, visual management boards, and Poka-Yoke mechanisms.
- Lead DMAIC root-cause analyses using Fishbone, 5-Whys, FMEA, and Pareto analysis.
- Establish TPM practices with maintenance and operations teams to improve machine uptime.
- Monitor Scrap Rate, FPY, Takt Time, Cycle Time, and OTD KPIs.
- Train and mentor shop-floor teams, line supervisors, and engineers in Lean tools.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- 4-7 years of hands-on experience in Lean manufacturing, industrial engineering, or operational transformation in production or manufacturing.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification from ASQ, IASSC, or an equivalent accredited body is required.
- Proven command of 5S, VSM, SMED, Kanban, TPM, Root Cause Analysis, and Kaizen facilitation.
- Proficiency with Minitab, JMP, or advanced Excel analytics and ERP/MES workflow tracking.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic proficiency is advantageous.
