Leader - Academic Library Services

We're looking for an experienced and forward-thinking library leader who:

Leads people with a collaborative, contemporary and service-focused approach.

Is passionate about delivering high-quality teaching, learning and research support.

Builds strong relationships and works effectively with diverse University stakeholders.

Embraces innovation, emerging technologies and new ways of working.

Develops team capability and creates a culture of collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement.

Can translate strategic priorities into practical improvements to library services and client experiences.

You'll be able to demonstrate:

Extensive contemporary academic library experience, including leadership across teaching, learning and/or research support.

Proven experience leading teams, developing people and managing service delivery in a complex organisation.

Strong knowledge of information and AI literacy and the evolving role of academic libraries.

Experience driving continuous improvement, service innovation and change.

Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and relationship-building skills.

The ability to contribute to and influence strategic initiatives, projects and service direction.
